Full dentures replace an entire upper or lower arch. They rest on the gums, held by suction or adhesive, and suit patients who have lost all their teeth in an arch. Each set is custom-made from an impression of your mouth for a matching fit.
A partial denture fills the gaps when you still have healthy natural teeth. It clips onto the remaining teeth with a metal or acrylic framework, restores your bite, and stops nearby teeth from shifting. It’s removable for cleaning and often cheaper than a bridge or implants.
Implant-supported dentures attach to implants placed in the jawbone instead of resting on the gums. This holds them firmly so they won’t slip when you eat or talk, and it helps slow bone loss. This option requires implant placement surgery and enough jawbone to support the implants.
